Account Deletion Policy

Overview

At Auralia Studios, we respect your right to control your personal data. This document outlines the process for requesting account deletion from our Roamly application and explains how we handle your data after deletion.

How to Request Account Deletion

Currently, Roamly does not offer an in-app account deletion feature. To request the deletion of your account and associated personal data, please:

  1. Send an email to auraliastudios@gmail.com
  2. Include the subject line: "Roamly Account Deletion Request"
  3. Provide the email address associated with your Roamly account
  4. Include any other relevant identifying information

We will process your deletion request within 30 days and send a confirmation email once completed.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you request account deletion:

  • Personal Information: Your personal profile data (name, email, photo) will be permanently deleted from our servers.
  • User Content: Your ratings, reviews, and comments will be anonymized or removed.
  • Wishlist & Visited Cities: Your saved cities and personalized lists will be permanently deleted.
  • Usage Data: Analytics data that could be linked to your account will be disassociated.

Data We May Retain

Even after account deletion, we may retain certain information:

  • Aggregated Data: Anonymous, aggregated data used for analytical purposes.
  • Legal Requirements: Information required to be kept for legal compliance or legitimate business purposes.
  • Technical Records: Basic technical records necessary for our services' operation and security.

This retained data will not be personally identifiable or linked to your deleted account.

Third-Party Data

Please note that deleting your Roamly account does not automatically delete your data from third-party services we use (Firebase, Google, RevenueCat). These services may retain certain data in accordance with their privacy policies. However, this data will no longer be associated with your Roamly account.

Subscription Information

If you have an active premium subscription:

  1. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription
  2. You should cancel any active subscriptions through your Google Play Store or Apple App Store account
  3. Please follow the app store's procedures for subscription cancellation before requesting account deletion
